Biography

I was born in Birmingham in the midlands, where I grew up with my one Brother and three Sisters.

As a young girl, I was always painting and drawing but life took me way from art and I spent many years searching for a career. I finally studied Public Administration to Degree level and worked in Local Government.

I left my career to start a family, and had two lovely daughters.

I made a promise to myself that when they both attended school I would study art.

In 1995 I did ‘A’ level art, followed by a Foundation year at Brighton City College. From there I went to the University of Brighton to do the BA course in three dimensional design, specialising in Ceramics and Plastics. I graduated in 1999.

I was Artist in Residence at Tideway School in Newhaven, Sussex UK, for three years, teaching Ceramics and developing my skills. I live in the Brighton Area in Sussex, UK, and I am currently painting on Canvas, for Gallery Exhibition.
